The officers and board of directors of the Friends of Oak Ridge National Laboratory report our activities for 2021. Despite COVID social distancing, FORNL continued its primary activity of hosting the eleven monthly “Luncheon Lecture” meetings held at noon on the second Tuesday, January through November. Two evening “Community Lectures,” A Tribute to Alvin Weinberg, and the 24th Annual Dick Smyser Community Lecture, Understanding Photosynthesis to Improve Crop Productivity, were also held. The Zoom virtual platform was used to present these thirteen well attended lectures. The "FORNL 2021 Annual Report" PDF file available below contains details of the lectures and other activities.
